Pierce Equipment has been manufacturing quality bindery equipment since 1955. Originally located in California, the company moved to Nashville, Tennessee area in 1968. It has been in its current location at 642 West Iris Drive since 1989 and presently employs fourteen people.
Today Pierce operates two separate divisions. One continues to manufacture numbering, perforating and semi-slitting equipment while a second division distributes all types of bindery equipment in the middle Tennessee area. This retail division represents vendors such as Duplo, Standard, Rena, and Powis-Parker.
The manufacturing division caters to the print finishing and decal markets. It produces a wide range of numbering and perforating equipment from a table-top to the most advanced numbering/perforating system available today, the PS-10 Rotary Numbering system. Production of semi-slitters with unmatched precision allows the screen print industry to back-slit or face-slit pressure sensitive materials (decals).
